Terms & Conditions

Last updated: March 2026. Enrollment-specific terms (deposit, cancellation, liability) are provided in your agreement after acceptance.

Website use

Content on this site is for information about the retreat and related programmes. Copy, imagery, and structure are protected; please request permission before republication for commercial use.

Not medical or clinical care

Yoga of Death is educational and contemplative group work. It is not psychotherapy, psychiatry, or emergency mental health care. Participation is at your own discretion; consult qualified professionals for clinical needs.

Assumption of risk

Retreat activities may include movement, breath practices, outdoor time, and emotionally intense group process. You agree to inform facilitators of relevant health conditions and to follow safety guidance.

Booking & payment

A place is confirmed only after written acceptance and completion of the deposit. Pricing on the site is subject to change until you are formally enrolled; typos will be corrected with transparency.

The balance of the retreat fee is due 30 days before the retreat start date. Failure to complete the balance payment by the due date may result in forfeiture of your place and deposit.

Deposit refund policy

The 30% deposit paid at the time of booking is non-refundable except in the following circumstances:

  • Your application is reviewed and not accepted by the organisers.
  • The retreat is cancelled by the organisers for any reason.
  • A documented medical emergency arises that prevents your attendance — subject to review and supporting documentation.

In all other cases — including personal schedule changes, travel difficulties, or change of mind — the deposit is forfeited. If you need to transfer your booking to another eligible participant, contact us as early as possible at info@yogaofdeath.com; transfers are at our discretion.

Cancellation by you

If you cancel more than 30 days before the retreat, you forfeit your deposit but owe nothing further. If you cancel within 30 days of the retreat, the full retreat fee remains due unless we are able to fill your place. We strongly recommend travel insurance that covers retreat cancellation.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Yoga of Death and its hosts disclaim liability for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited.

Governing law

These website terms are governed by the laws applicable to the operating entity named in your enrollment documents. If that entity is not yet finalised, contact info@yogaofdeath.com for the current contracting party.
